In Buffalo, NY, our schools have a Winter Break and a Spring Break. With Winter Break just a few weeks away, I thought I’d put together a guide of recommended things you may need to purchase and pack for a warm weather getaway vacation. I like to pack the basics and add a few items in case I feel like getting fancy. The things I pack are generally of the same color scheme so I can mix and match easily and not overpack.

Perfumes…so many to choose from! Where does one even start? You try one on, then another and suddenly they all smell the same. Which have lasting power? Which smell outdated? Which smell modern? Which evoke happy memories?
A signature scent is such a fun thing to have. It’s a reflection of you, your personality and it’s what people will remember you by. Scents trigger powerful memories so having a good one is important! A small dose of a scent can bring your mind back to a special memory, a place, a season, a person, a flower, a tree, a sunrise on a warm day, a day at the beach or a romantic night in the city. When you choose a fragrance, you’re choosing much more than a scent. You’re choosing a memory for yourself and others.
